The AI is so low skilled.... Commander attacks units and kill himself.... No strategy... Simply producing units... On hardest game mode... Too easy... The maps are very small... But thats ok... Its called little war game

Lots of more missions and hours of playing fun time. However this is more like a missions pack than a sequel. But at least it is s mission pack to one of the best games in AppStore:-)
Wow very happy about this game.
I was desperate for a sequel to either GBWG or GLWG. saw this and thought Ill buy that. Disappointing in that the "scenarios" in this game are nothing more than the skirmishes in the previous two. They modified the skirmishes to either kill general or destroy hq. Further the computer player is so weak that some scenarios can be completed in 2 days. Lunch bag letdown. Still if you loved the other two there still is some gameplay to this. Hence the two stars
Just a small visual upgrade and display changes. Less content than the first one, DO NOT BUY.
I am a big fan of Great little war game #1 and the big problem is that in the version 2 there are no chalenge ! To easy.
The original game is outstanding. The sequel not has nothing to add, but is considerably less.
Pretty much same as the first two. No multi player and no skirmishes (yet). Finished all 60 levels in two days. It wasnt very challenging.
It might not be as good as the others, but its the first update so Im giving it a chance.
Great game, it just needs the pass and play feature from GLWG (original) and skirmish so you can practice your skills and not campaign. Love the upgrade your troops! Add skirmish and pass n play and Ill give five stars. Also, I agree with the others, its too easy with the computer vs. the first GLWG
Not challenging at all even playing "hard". Too many repetitive missions, a bit disappointed....
Im sure there is a large and loyal following of the franchise of GLWG and GBWG, I wouldve thought that by now we would have an option that eliminates telling us how to play every time. Strangely, the ability to get rid of zoom in animations is no longer here. Annoying watching every shot take as long as it does now. Graphics seem to have a bit more depth and detail but seem darker for some reason. Dont see myself paying for any future instalments if its like this one. Shame... My favourite turn based game.
It would be nice if it had icloud support play on u iphone finish it of on iPad and be able to finish on the iPhone
Ive always enjoyed these games but this one crashes and/or fails to load quite often. The game itself is almost too easy, but still fun - it doesnt take too long to get through all 60 levels. Its also too dark and adjusting the brightness doesnt make much difference. Some bigger maps would also be nice. Im sure theres more coming with future updates. At least I HOPE theres more coming. Good entertainment overall for the price; and best of all... NO IN-APP PURCHASES!
Mutes podcast app even with in game sound off
How can you not have a strategy game with landscape view??? Or at least as an option. I have prob written less than five reviews in the 7 years of owning iProducts and I hope that is telling of how disappointed I was in this game following the previous releases. I wont even play it at this point. The last games were my favorites of any ipad games that exist...this is just a slap in the face...
Echo every bad review. I have played/bought every game in the series, no fog of war, no big maps and way too easy!!
Having played this games predecessor I was excited to see a sequel. However upon starting the game it became obvious that the former elements that I loved were not there. The AI is at times pathetic and rarely aggressive. The missions dont have the scope and size of the previous game either. I was hoping to see new features or units to improve the game and was disappointed. If you loved the last game then you might want this game to kill time but you shouldnt be looking for a new challenge. Rather I think this game is a step back from previous iterations.
As a big fan of the previous GLWG and GBWG releases, I snapped this one up as soon as it was released and found myself very disappointed. The other games, while not particularly difficult, did at least require an element of strategy and planning. Not so for this one. So far its pretty boring, I hate to say. Im ok with the portrait only (would prefer the option to do landscape, but its not a deal breaker, particularly with the tiny maps this game has), and Im fine with no new units. But its pretty inexcusable for the AI to be as awful as it is. It would be one thing to have AI that cant fight its way out of a paper bag if there were multi-player, or even skirmish where I could slant the odds toward the AI, but this game only has a single player campaign, and frankly, its not really worth my time due to the extreme lack of any challenge. I really cant recommend this game.
I am a big fan of this series and was looking forward to this installment. Much like the other reviewers this game is a BIG disappointment! Apparently the developers just recycled some old maps, didnt add any new features, threw a $4 price tag on it and suckered people into buying it based on past successes. I really wish I would have waited to read these reviews before purchasing and would strongly advise against buying this app.
